Hillarious story this is guyz!!! Wizkid and his manger Godwin were allegedly invited/detained by some Nigerian police men - Zone 2 Command, Onikan, yesterday June 19th after students of the University of Lagos lodged a complaint to the police. The students claim that Wizkid collected a sum of N500,000 from them as full payment for a show that was supposed to hold at UNILAG Sports Centre on the 24th of May 2013.tagged Concert of Life.
They claim Wizkid's shadow didnt show up for their event to say the least wizkid himself!! to top it up he didn’t return their money so they thought the police would solve the problem.
Wizkid was at Zone 2 for a few hours with his team. He was bailed by his lawyer after he wrote a statement and was asked to report back to the station next week. Wizkid’s manager Godwin Tom eventually cleared the air saying the UNILAG students paid money to a fake Wizkid manager!Godwin Tom confirmed that he and Wizkid were indeed brought in for questioning by men of the Nigeria Police Force – Zone 2 Command, Onikan but he stated that the person the UNILAG group paid money to is not him apparently the UNILAG students have been scammed.
He went further to state that the emails, phone number, account details were all fake and not those from him or Wizkid. Concert of life!! LOL
