As reported by another gossip blogger, Nigerian/international football star, Mikel Obi has been duped of millions of naira by a friend. They claim Mikel Obi got duped by a close friend after he was shown a property to buy.
After inspecting the said property, it was said that the footballer was impressed with what he saw; he issued a cheque of N100million. It was also said that the so-called friend disappeared into thin air after he cashed the money; till date Mikel is yet to hear from or see him. The source who confirmed the story said, Mikel still finds it difficult to believe, they were very close. The friend is no longer seen in town and his phone numbers have been unreachable. The source also said Mikel is still very much busy to come to Nigeria to report the case to the police.
