The World Stands Up For Nigeria Via The #Bringbackourgirls Campaign

Not really sure if it's a good or bad thing, but Nigeria has never been so popular until the recent campaign trending all over social media, TV, international news networks and the world at large with hastag #Bringbackourgirls.  It's no news that barely 3 weeks ago, over 234 girls were kidnapped in the rural area of Chibok local government Borno State, Nigeria and the World is demanding their return.

Nigeria has since accepted aid from World powers, The United States Of America, Britain and China, and other foreign Countries are also lending a hand to support the cause and to eradicate the terror of Boko Haram in Nigeria.

A lot of protesting has been going on across the world, including states in Nigeria, South Africa, The United states, The UK etc via street march and images of international celebrities with bold placards of #Bringbackourgirls (including Keri Hilson, Chris Brown, Mitchelle Obama, Kim Kardashian, Mary J Blidge, Ashton Kutcher, Alicia Keys, Drake, Isha Sesay, Justin Timberlake, Sharon Osborne, Anne Hathaway Malala and a host of others) currently trending on social media. Our Local celebrities are not left out as Banky W, Sasha, Tiwa Savage, Seun Kuti, Waje etc, has also been involved in the protest.

We appreciate the love, concern and support that the World has shown us Nigerians and anticipate with hope the return of the abducted Chibok girls, safe and sound. God Bless Nigeria...
