Following the abduction of more than 200 girls, Boko Haram sect, has just released a video showing some of the kidnapped Nigerian girls wearing Hijab headdresses and reciting the Quran as they make Islamic declarations. Sky news aired some screenshots from the video.
The leader of the terrorist group Shekau also said that they will release the girls in exchange for the freedom of the militant prisoners. The video was aired after the Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, told the BBC: ‘
We've got reports of them being sighted in some locations – which we have conveyed to the relevant military authorities, for them to cross-check, verify and get additional information on the accurate location of the daughters.’He also said he did not think the girls had been taken across the border to Chad or Cameroon.
