Popular talk show host and one time stand up comic Ellen DeGeneres would make a second appearance as the host of the prestigeous Academy Awards next year.
55-year old Ellen, expressed her excitement on twitter saying, ’I’m so excited to be hosting the Oscars for the second time’. You know what they say- the third time’s the charm’. She went on to thank the organizers and her ‘wife’Portia
Ellen hosting the Oscars in 2007 earned her an Emmy nomination for her performance and also became the only woman taking that role after Whoopi Goldberg.
