The 2013 Miss Nigeria competition took place on Saturday July 7 at the Intercontinental Hotels Victoria Island Lagos. 22 year old Law graduate of Abia State University Anyaoha Ezinne Akudo beating 33 other contestants emerged the winner of the competition which is in its 38th edition.
Ezinne Akudo was crowned by Grace Atinuke Oyelude, former Miss Nigeria, 1957 and took home a brand new car, 3 million naira and an all expense trip to California, USA.
Anchored by comedian Ay and TV show host Eku Edewor, the event was an enxciting one with music performances from Tiwa Savage, Kcee, Seyi Shay and a host of others.
Distinguished faces at the pageant include, Ebony Live TV boss, Mo Abudu, Ekiti State First Lady Bisi Fayemi, Abike Dabiri, Raymond Dokpesi and wife Moji amongst others.
