There have been controversies surrounding the ownership of hit banger 'Sho Lee' sang by Sean Tizzle, a former Naija Ninja. His new management 'Difference Entertainment' has released an official statement stating that there is no bad blood between the parties. read below...
It has come to our notice that a
purported “BREACH OF CONTRACT STORY” BETWEEN NAIJA NINJAS AND SEAN
TIZZLE OF DIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT recently surfaced the internet. It
was also rumoured that SOUND SULTAN is currently planning to pursue
litigation over the aforesaid.
It is worthy of note to let you know that Ace Musician SOUND SULTAN
(CEO NIAJA NINJAS), is someone we know personally and respect so much in
the Nigerian music industry. Contrary to what unscrupulous rumour
peddlers have been publicizing, we can categorically state that we have
no issues whatsoever with SOUND SULTAN and NIAJA NINJAS as a company has
no axe to grind with neither SEAN TIZZLE nor DIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT.
It is unarguable that SEAN TIZZLE was a member of NIAJA NINJAS but
it’s ideal to let you know that his initial contract has been signed off
to DIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT and matters concerning the song “SHO LEE”
has been resolved amicably with everyone’s interest/stake well
represented.
DIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT LTD is a responsible company which has built
its foundation on creativity and integrity. We hereby notify the entire
public that all transactions/business concerning SEAN TIZZLE’s brand
can ONLY be handled and channeled through DIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT LTD,
being the legal owner of the brand.
We would also like to appeal to numerous fans of SEAN TIZZLE to
kindly ignore gossip junkies trying to beat a dead horse for the
amusement of gist merchants by circulating the alleged “BREACH OF
CONTRACT OR ILLEGAL USE OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY” story.
