Her reign as MBGN has certainly been a challenging one. She was first accused of age forgery that led to her disqualification from the Miss World Competition, then rumors about her dating the deputy speaker, House of Reps, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha surfaced.
The Beauty Queen didn't let all that get to her. After establishing her Vanessa Manyo Foundation in memory of her late sister to affect the life's of less privileged children, the out-going queen has taken up an acting role. The movie is titled "Alok Monument, The Pride Within". She says the movie isn't just interesting but educative too, and would showcase were she is personally from.
The reigning queen is excited about the 2013 pageant and says its going to be spectacular as she is prepared to hand over to the most lucky girl. She wishes her successor the very best.
