Meet John Olumba the 31-year old Nigerian running for mayor of the city of Detroit in Michigan. He is a lawyer, an ordained pastor and he is an Independent Democrat serving his second term as a member of the Michigan State House of Representatives
Wikipedia describes him as the first Nigerian elected to a state office in Michigan history. His dad is from Owerri in Imo State.
