Students And Doctors Protest The Mass Sack Of 16,000 Doctors
After the mass sack of 16,000 doctors by the Federal Government, medical doctors, students and consultants converged at the Lagos University Teaching hospital, (LUTH), Idi Araba, today to protest. The protest was led by the Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Dr. Tope Ojo.
According to the doctors, their strike was never about an increment in their salary, but for better structures and equipment in hospitals across the country.
