Paris Jackson was rushed to hospital in the early hours today after attempting to commit suicide. Paris mum Debbie Rowe confirmed the obscene development to Entertainment Tonight and said the 15-year-old is currently at a Los Angeles hospital.
A lawyer for Paris' paternal grandmother, also appeared to confirm the suicide bid.
‘She’s suffered with the loss of her father,’ the lawyer told the New York Daily News. ‘But we don’t know what she was exposed to that precipitated this.’
Paris was rushed from their calabasas home around 2am to a nearby hospital. As reported by TMZ , The drama unfolded just hours after the teenager posted a series of alarming messages on Twitter.
Around midnight she recited the sorrowful Beatles’ song 'Yesterday' to her million plus followers, writing: ‘Yesterday, all my troubles seem so far away, now it looks as though they’re here to stay.’
An hour previously, she posted: ‘I wonder why tears are salty.’Paris whose father's (Michael Jackson) death still stirs up controversies is very much in a rush to join him and re-unite in death.
Thankfully she is responding to treatment.
