Nigerian songstress and Triple MG first lady Emma Nyra has been announced as the co-host for the Red Carpet 2014 Channel O Africa Music Video Awards this Saturday, November 29th. The awards which is scheduled to hold in Nasrec Expo Centre in Soweto, Johannesburg will be broadcast live for millions of viewers within and outside Africa. The award is said to be one of the biggest awards for the African music industry. Here's what she had to say;

BREAKING NEWS: Pop Duo Psquare Loses Dad After Suffering Cardiac Arrest

So sad! Shortly after losing their mother, Pop duo P-Square has lost their father. The unfortunate incident happened yesterday 24th November 2014. A Crunch OnTV rep spoke to Peter Okoye, son of the deceased who said that his dad, the late Mr. Okoye had recently undergone a successful knee surgery and was recuperating before her went into cardiac arrest. His was immediately rushed to the hospital were he passed away.

May his soul rest in peace...Amen.

Today marks the 57th birthday of our dear President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and a prayer session was held at the villa, thanking God for his life and his reign as the president so far. His mum, his wife, his aides and colleagues were present at the thanks giving.  May God give him wisdom to continue to lead Nigeria in the right path and also solve the security and terrorism issues in Nigeria.

Fans believe that apart from a similar sense humour Kathy Griffin and late Joan Rivers also have some sort of semblance on their faces, maybe it's the plastic surgery. We hope this works out, because I can't possibly think of anyone who can be like Joan.

We're told the show will no longer be a weekly series. E! will roll it out during awards shows and other occasions as event programming. One silver lining ... the drapes will now match the carpet for sure.

Terrorist Group ISIS Beheads Another American, Peter Kassig

ISIS has beheaded yet another American, former US worker and aide, Peter Kassig. This is making it the fifth foreigner to be beheaded. The US government confirmed his killing in a statement today after reviewing a video ISIS released, that was aimed at showing off the beheading.

The 26 year old man from Indianapolis was captured in eastern Syria on Oct. 1, 2013, while delivering relief supplies for the aid group he founded.
