Scammers won't let these celebs rest. Man must wack sha!! Kcee recently placed a cash reward of $1000 to anyone can help nab an impostor who has been using his name to defraud unsuspecting fans on social media. He said the fraudster has been using a parody Facebook and Instagram accounts to dupe people.
Kcee is willing to give the said amount to whoever can provide useful information that will lead to the arrest of the impostor.
He tweeted thus:
@Iam_KCee ‘THERE’S A GUY WITH A FAKE INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT @OFFIALLKCEE, ITS NOT ME, DONT BE JONZED AND I AM NOT ASKING ANYONE FOR MONEY PLS’
He also gave out other useful info about the impostor ‘THIS IS THE NUMBER OF THE SCAMMER 08187299188,PLS ANYBODY WITH ANY USEFUL INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS MOBILE NUMBER, $1,000 WILL BE REWARDED’
People took it upon themselves to verify the accounts and true to Kcee's words all the accounts are fake. Findings on the fake Facebook link https://www.facebook.com/kcee.okonkwo.165?fref=ts as released by Kcee showed that the page bears personal details of the music star but was last updated on June 3, 2013
