Few days after Chris Brown's release from prison, his girlfriend Karrueche Tran threw a welcome home/belated birthday party for him. The party was full of friends, colleagues and well wishers who were present to celebrate the pop star's return, some of which includes Rappers Big Sean, T.Pain, Tyga, his mum and close family and friends were all there.

Chris Brown spent nearly four months in jail for violating his probation and was released early this week, June 2nd.

Mo Abudu Honoured With A Doctorate Degree From Babcock University

Media mogul/entrepreneur and Ebony Life TV Boss, Mo Abudu was honoured as a Doctor of Humane Letters, HonourisCausa on Sunday the 1st of June during their convocation ceremony.

According to the President/Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof J.A KayodeMakinde, the award is intended to celebrate those who have inspired the young generation in diverse ways. Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was also awarded Doctor of Science in Global Economic Development, HonourisCausa.

Producer Sossick Involved In A Ghastly Auto Crash

         

Producer/artiste Sossick, with hit productions to his name like “Julie' by Shank, 'Ife wa gbono' by Tiwa Savage,”Pon pon pon” by Dagrin and a host of others, was involved in an auto crash last week on his way back from a meeting on the island.

Sossick suffered a fracture, a cut to his tongue and some bruises. He's currently receiving treatment at a private hospital where friends say he’s responding to treatment. Continue to see more photos...

Boko Haram Attacks Church In Borno Kills 12 Members, Lose 6 Men In Battle With Community Men

 

On the 1st of June at around 9:30pm, over a 100 members of  Boko Haram attacked the EYN Church (Church of Brethren, Nigeria) at Attagara village in Gwoza LGA of Borno state and killed 12 of the worshipers in the church.

 

A senior security confirmed the incident and this aroused anger in the community members, which led to a quick mobilization and battle against the extremist group, killing 6 of their men, according Sahara reporters.
