Who saw this building when it was under construction? surely we all had different opinions about it's eventual functionality: Hotel, Plaza, Banks, Homes... Well the building is the InterContinental Hotel in Lagos State. It was unveiled yesterday by the state Governor Babatunde Fashola. The 23-storey building is located on Victoria Island, the building was said cost roughly N30 billion  with 358 rooms, 37 suites and a presidential suite.

FC Barcelona Star Messi Smiles To Court: Himself And Father Charged With Tax Fraud

Lionel Messi and his father Jorge arrived in a Spanish court early hours of Friday September 27th to answer charges meted on them as regards tax fraud. Messi and his father were accused for hiding well over £3.4 million by filing incomplete tax returns from 2006 to 2009.

The four time FIFA footballer of the year was charged in June 2013 but they both denied vehemently.

"I never take care of that (tax) stuff myself and neither does my father," Messi said in July. "We have our lawyers and our wealth managers to take care of that and we trust them and they will sort this out. The truth is I don’t have a clue about all this and that is why we have people taking care of it."

Messi is said to have paid the Spanish authorities the unpaid tax he's owing plus interest (£4.2m) tax fraud been a  serious offense in Spain, he still has to make an appearance in court where the courts will determine whether the case is pursued any further or discharged.

Woolwich Murderers Michael Adebolajo And Michael Adebowale Deny Killing British Drummer

Late Drummer Lee Rigby's widow breaks down in court as her husband's killers plead not guilty to murdering him 

Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale have denied killing Fusilier Lee Rigby in Woolwich on the 22nd of May, 2013.

At a pre-trial hearing at the Old Bailey criminal court in central London via videolink on Friday, September 27, Michael Adebolajo from Romford in Essex and Michael Adebowale from Greenwich
in southeast London entered their pleas to the murder charge.

The soldier's widow Rebecca Rigby watched in tears as Adebolajo, 28, and Adebowale, 22, each denied attempting to murder a police officer on the day of Drummer Rigby's death.
They also denied conspiracy to murder on or before that day.

As reported by CNN,the suspects are scheduled to face trial later on November 18,2013.
